This is a really good idea. Setup an online link somewhere. Honor system, but they could login, select county, and vote to confirm. This would give independent count of Rep voters in each county to match against results. Dems could mess with it, but they would increase not decrease.

It's essentially a hand recount of the actual ballot itself, but no signature verification whatsoever and the envelopes are not even present.... Only the ballots themselves.

Apparently the certification of counties needs to happen before they audit can be done by the SOS. The hand count is compared to the machine count and then audited afterwards where there are discrepancies.
