No I think it makes a good point that Benford's law can only make sense when applied to certain data sets. If the numbers are in two narrow a range then it is not reliable.

But we don't need Benford's law for anything. The fraud is staring us right in the face with direct evidence. I would simply ignore Benford's law unless you are sure you are using it on the right kind of dataset.

I ask because I suck at math and science and I find it highly suspicious that youtube features it on their trending tab. Seems to me like it's basically "we decide what's true, and anything could be argued to be true".

Also, side note, I noticed all the emails from Trump's administration about the electoral fraud, gmail has been automatically putting them in my trash folder.

Ridiculous.

So I watched most of that video and dude is completely on the level. The Cambridge report he's basing his analysis on was published in 2011, so it's definitely not disinformation related to the current election. It doesn't mean there wasn't election fraud, it just means benford's law is not a good way of detecting it. It also means the people of Gateway pundit are f****** morons because they're the ones who push this into the public sphere in the first place.
