Basically installs intrusive encrypted programs on your PC you can't just simply (sometimes) uninstall, for games mostly used with anti cheat, and is used for copy protection. Its a huge thing with gamers and digital media people. Us opensource people hate it with a passion. So the headline I wrote was kinda joking that some poor gamer finally lost it because Ubisoft has been known for years to have very intrusive DRM with callback functions etc.
