It's for the best, man. They are using it to scrape all of your data and sell it to 3rd party companies, and the government, and they will censor everything they don't like, and with the recent Shadowgate revelation, the government is also using it to control the masses by injecting things they know you will have a specific reaction to in order to control you.

All of these mainstream platforms are terrible. Be careful of what you put out there, and be suspicious of everything.
