When you realize how much of the private AND public sector is hosted on Amazon services you start getting a very scary picture of how much Amazon controls in the tech industry.
Amazon is the China of the virtual landscape. Just like how China has all of our drugs and can fuck us in a legit pandemic if they wanted, Amazon can fuck us virtually.
I seem to recall Bezos saying something about Amazon not lasting forever, maybe he knew this shit was coming and Amazon would get linked to this bullshit... I think his comments were from back in 2018 if I remember correctly.
