This! A thousand times this! It's mainly a generational thing but not strictly limited to that. People can't even watch videos that are longer than 2 minutes, or read something more than 140 characters. Just because it can't happen before the end of the day or even the hour doesn't mean it won't or shouldn't. Patience is something that needs to be practiced.

Right on. Alex told me 20 years ago there would be an attempt at world tyranny. I agreed, bought guns, learned some prepping basics. Stuck to it--still do--but after a few years I thought maybe he's right but obviously we're talking more like 100 yrs from now, c'mon man. A short dozen years later and damn if that motherfucker wasn't right, again. Today I think Alex is probably controlled neutrality--not controlled opposition. A compatible alien sent to our planet with rules about what he can and can't tell us.
