So this video I saw, the guy was talking about how if neither candidate decides to concede, that it goes to the house. In which case, each state gets one vote and they decide which person gets transferred in. And that republicans control more states, not necessarily seats, in the house. Is this correct? It would mean that republicans would vote in Trump, correct?
He says that this is why Hillary told Biden not to concede under any circumstances. In order to make the election illegitimate and make the House vote Trump so that they could claim Trump is an asshole who steals elections?
If that were the case why would the electoral college even exist. No one would concede if the House were on their side and voting would be (even more) pointless.
AFAIK conceding is a formality. The House voting occurs in the case of a tie in the electoral college.
Hillary's suggestion was that Biden not concede on Nov 3 specifically. She knew they might need to wait for vans of ballots. Which they did. Her remarks in my opinion were meaningless as everyone knew the deadlines were extended for mail-in ballots so neither one should have conceded until the magical mail-ins all shook out.
edit: On further study I find multiple accounts of Hillary's remarks actually, and I'm not about to sit through her witch voice to see whether she said to not concede at all or just not on Nov 3. But either way I think she's referring to the fact that dems will cough up however many fake votes he needs. Which happened, for now.
