It starts good, then when the audience peaks they start preaching Leftists talking points until the ratings sink and it gets cancelled. Even good TV, it seems like it's just a matter of time before they turn Left and becomes subtle political speech. I guess indepedent livestreams are the future and that's fine with me.

This killed The Walking Dead for me. Well, to be fair, it was really starting to suck, but I would have stuck around if it wasn't for them showing some "bad people" that just so happened to be wearing what appeared to be MAGA hats. Yeah, this show used to be really good, but it went to shit. Now there's way to many characters that I couldn't give a fuck about, and they diversity push is obvious. Heck, I don't even know if the one character is a dude or a chick.

Gave 'em up years ago when they kept turning main characters gay. Now I hear everyone's going woke. Same deal. It's all programming. "What PROGRAM do you like?" Why choose to be programmed? Live in real life, experience real things, spend time with real people.
That's why I mentioned livestreams. Real people talking about real things instead of people pretending and doing things other people wrote for them to do and say. Not that livestreams can't be scripted, but they're far more based than obvious fiction trying to be real life. Suspension of disbelief is like voluntary brainwashing.

I only watch Me-TV. It's free broadcast. I don't pay for TV shows, unless it's something worth buying on DVD, which is cheaper than paying cable bills.

The last current show I was following starting going on about incels... I rolled my eyes so hard and never finished out the season. The show always had left politics, but it crossed the line into straight propaganda and forgetting to be remotely entertaining.

I agree. Still, there are a bajillion good shows out there and you won't watch them all in a lifetime. We should make a list of the ones that came out this year and the ones from years past.

The content alone is reason to not watch. Another reason is the pacing and filmography. Compare shows and movies from the last 10 years to ones from the 90’s and earlier. You’ll notice the pacing right away. The scenes don’t soak in because of the nonstop cuts.
Most modern shows are failing at “show, don’t tell”. The characters never shut up.
