After a nine hour drive, we finally arrived. I’ve never driven anywhere bigger than Asheville before so I was terrified. Almost backed out this afternoon but I’m so glad we are here. We saw more patriots in the lobby and a few straggler caravan cars on the way. Got a few honks for our American flag. I’m so glad we are here and thankful that we found the grit to come show our support for POTUS. If you guys see us tomorrow, we’ll be the two gals from Cherokee with the Trump flag (and I’m still wearing my moon boot). MAGA.

I hear you. I almost couldn’t swing it but I worked as a poll worker for the election, so my paycheck from the state BOE is covering this. I think it’s the best money I ever spent. Rumor is GEOTUS might come out so I’m praying we see him. We want to recreate his Bible photo at the church, get a pic in front of the White House, and I want to get a special souvenir for my dad, who’s an even bigger patriot than I am.

I’m a little scared about running into Antifa. We are hoping we’ll find some other pedes at the metro we can stick with. DC has such strict gun laws that they are sending ladies into the lion’s den with no protection. But I get the need for it to protect POTUS. We plan to leave early so we won’t be out after dark and stick with large crowds as much as possible, but I am scared of those violent drugged out commies.
Sounds like you have a sound strategy. Honestly I think that Antifa will be lying low.
DC is actually a very fun place to visit. Wifey and I have been there quite a few times.

We’re still on the way from Indiana. Be safe. People will have your back if things get unruly. I haven’t traveled this far in a very long time, but you’re right it’s definitely worth it. I set aside my Christmas money for family gifts to make this trip. I told the folks what was up and not only were they understanding, the three money in to help me go. The just insist on pictures. MAGA!

Looks like the map app is sending us through a Fredericksburg MD (south of Arlington). We are pretty hazy on the geography up here. We went through Johnston City TN to get here.
You will be going through Fredericksburg, VA not Frederick, MD. Totally opposite directions. FYI
