Just remember, these are the same cops that will come for your guns if Biden gets into office.

Pretty much all cops just follow orders, they are not our friends, or anyone's friends. They are machine.

They'll always just follow orders.

Meh that was debunked. The prisoner was told to act kinda wild, and days they were all given roles.

Groupthinkgroupthink 13 points ago +13 / -0

The findings were repeated in multiple countries, in multiple studies, across various different experiments.

Yes, in one variation of the experiment they were 'given roles' as that was part of the methodology -- inmates and prison guards -- of the experiment the rest was up to them.

They wanted to see how people would act, with nothing more than the idea of a role guiding them.

Suffice to say, those who played the guard role spiraled out of control into abuse -- because the whole idea of the experiment, was to highlight in-group versus out-group behavior, and how the in-group will ultimately rationalize near any behavior against the out-group, simply because they are perceived as the out-group and without power.

We see real world examples of it all the time, and to this day.

It was not deboonked, lo.

Yeah, Communist-states are a pretty good example of this, their authority comes with the penalty of force too, with the entire system-experience (living under a communist state) being engineered to be as much of a struggle for the individual as possible.

Vsauce had a good video that debooonks it, above.

Personally though I do think anonymity and power doesn't necessarily corrupt, but it does expose our innerselves.

In the book The Gift of Fear the author states that all men are capable of great wickedness, and that we must understand that we have in ourselves the capacity to do evil

Self control, humility, and focus seem to be great fighters against this.

I don't disagree with what The Gift of Fear states, that capacity for destruction, woe and evil is in all of us -- there's a time and a place for violence and force, protecting ones self or family for example -- but those who just practice or do these things out of bordem are truly evil and lack empathy for anything other than their own situation.

The part that should separate us from those who visit those things on others, as you state, is self-control, humility and an understanding that some actions are a net-detractor and ultimately detrimental to the good of the community you live in - being able to empathize.

It's like you watch those BBC programs where they take city people out of London, and they go live with some hidden tribe in the Amazon, and they realize the communities that still practice joint-community-behaviors and identities are actually HAPPY, whereas the people in the cities that have no real community identity other than being in the rate race too, don't seem very happy.

Edit: i'll check out vsauce -- but yeah there were multiple different types of experiments, it wasn't just the prison experiment.

Chiefs work for the Mayor. They kiss the Mayor’s ass for their job.

Wny not trust the cops?

We're trusting the entire government to help us because Trump is in office.

We gotta act or we're gonna burry our loved ones.

I keep telling you, police are not your friends. They are the State and the State wants Democrats in charge because then the State can do whatever the fuck it wants.

They happily arrested the McCloskeys and watched BLM burn down city blocks without opposition. They happily allow Bicep man to roam free despite his video recorded attempt at murdering someone with a handgun but make sure they get Kyle Rittenhouse for defending himself. They escorted Republican poll watchers out with a smile. They love it when you have no rights. Makes their jobs so easy, and makes sure there’s never any consequences for them.

It's the same all over the world. It was the same in UK. Police did jack squat at the BLM protests. But they went out full force against people defending freedom. Same story in Poland. They did nothing during the recent wave of leftist protests. Nothing. But they went out full force with gas and batons and every provocation trick in the book against: enterpreneurs angry at the lockdown, people protesting illegal law, people protesting lockdown in general and mos recently agains people celebrating Polish independence. Leftist protest were violent, churches were desecrated, private and police property was demolished and thw police did nothing at the leftist protests. On the other hand other protests were peaceful, but for some reason the police felt like tear gassing people, even journalists.

Why is this so similar all over the world?

There's a wave sweeping over the world with spiritual underpinnings. its strange. a push for global communism, one world gov, a new normal. they benefit off anarchy and chaos, they can takeover after the old govs fall.

Wait until they knock on your door and try to drag you out of the house by the hair on the way to a gulag. Keep your powder dry.

I don’t blindly support cops. They follow any order given to them.

2
Pederrr 2 points ago +3 / -1

Let's be fair:

We do nothing during the same circumstance.

We allow a few true patriots to be martyrs while we sit back and no let it be known that it's not acceptable... which means we're telling the children it's ok to continue.

Are the Police there to stop the Trump protestors or are they there to silently support them? Or perhaps they are there to chill the violent leftwing lunatics who will inevitably show up.

Or perhaps they are just glad to get some overtime without having somebody pelt them with rocks or try to set them on fire.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions.
