In some situations you have to prove injury so that you actually have standing to file the case. Having an election stolen from you is that injury.

Exactly. If you think someone is stealing, you have to let them leave the store with the goods for it to stick - if you just them beforehand, they get off scott free...

It gets dismissed as speculation. The lawsuit sites stats that help his case. The previous reject rate was 3%, but now down to 0.3%, or something like that. I don't recall the actual stats. But it was significantly lower. And there's no reason to think that THOUSANDS of new voters will all get the procedure right.
