Fox was the most balanced towards Candidate Trump in 2016, at only 52% negative coverage. Even after the election, they "supported" President Trump by starting with the narrative spun by the left, but downplaying it as "not so bad".
Like with Kavanaugh, they started (most of the coverage I actually bothered watching) by assuming Ford was telling the truth about being assaulted, but it wasn't actually that bad so he should still be confirmed. It only seems to be Tucker and other opinion types that actually say "no, this story is BS and false", which would be actual support.
TL;DR Fox has not been your friend for many years.
Notice how he called out Fox all those years ago.
