So I have a pastor friend who LOVES astronomy. He has several theology degrees and is one of the smartest people I know and HE believes the sun revolves around the earth because the Bible says this. I dont argue with him about it. But I will say this... those in power will lie about so much, and hide the truth about so much...who knows what they lie about?
The Bible doesn't say the Sun revolves around the Earth.
The Bible does mention 'worlds' (plural) on two occasions, though:
Hebrews 1:2
"Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;"
Hebrews 11:3
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
People from centuries ago could therefore have realized that there were many worlds in this universe if they had only read their Bible.
Twitter are on the side of lies and propaganda. Twitter would dispute the claim that the Earth revolves around the Sun. The point the meme makes is accurate.
