We tested because we have plenty of events with other people, and we’d prefer not giving it to other people. Example, if I knew I had strep throat, I wouldn’t go out during that 48 hours that you’re contagious after getting meds.
So we get tested, she was positive, I was negative (for now obviously) and we are just laying low. Not bragging. I think there is a part of knowing for sure to be responsible, and knowing what to watch for symptom wise (wife is also pregnant).

Well, my wife and I got tested as she worked at a wedding with a ton of people, and the other she worked with came down with it.
We tested because we have plenty of events with other people, and we’d prefer not giving it to other people. Example, if I knew I had strep throat, I wouldn’t go out during that 48 hours that you’re contagious after getting meds.
So we get tested, she was positive, I was negative (for now obviously) and we are just laying low. Not bragging. I think there is a part of knowing for sure to be responsible, and knowing what to watch for symptom wise (wife is also pregnant).
