I think the way Tim treated Alex was shitty and a waste of Alex's time. He doubled his viewership for that podcast and essentially used it to "stand up" to Alex. It was wack, beta, etc. Ok, but the real issue here IMO is the firing squad thing. Alex was saying "We need a firing squad; I agree with Bill Gates". But it was said quickly someone else was talking at the same time and in the commotion it DID kinda sound like "We need a firing squad for Bill Gates" or something like that.

Alex Jones showed the slowed down and subtitled clip to prove that was what he was saying. As far as I'm aware, Tim isn't aware of that. Alex made that slowed down video at the same time that Tim was doing the next podcast and Alex was telling Tim to retract his statement that Alex broke the rules.

So while I'm kinda turned off to Tim by the whole thing, I think the egregious part that would get me to be like, fuck Tim in general, would be if Tim saw the slowed down clip and request from Alex, and then still doubled down. That's why I was asking, where did he quadruple down on it? Is he aware of Alex's challenge?

Tim retracted on Twitter about a half-hour ago.

Said he thought Alex said something he didn’t say, and he was looking for options to re-upload the episode so it would be available again.

Maybe. I saw that more as Tim saying that Alex Jones got taken down for violating terms of service, and because he did technically call for violence on the most technical level, he was not surprised. Kind of like how Steve Bannon said he wanted people head’s on pikes. Wasn’t being literal, but when you’re being monitored and people are looking for any reason to ban you, it was an easy thing for them to use to kick them off the platform.

Part of the reason Tim and Rogan fact checked Alex is so people wouldn’t think he was crazy, and to stand as an active argument to the censors that would be looking for any excuse to pull it. It’s the same reason many of Tim’s videos are him talking over articles and other things giving commentary on it. You can’t say it’s baseless if you’re literally showing the evidence on screen the entire time, which is largely why Tim hasn’t been banned yet from YouTube.

I get why people are mad that Tim isn’t calling for people to go to war, but I also acknowledge that calling for everyone going to war isn’t exactly the best strategy to win this election and expose the fraud. There’s a stereotype in place that has been fabricated by the media to censor Trump supporters and conservatives. If you overtly play into that made up image, you’re falling into their trap.

He did something similar in the Proud Boys interview. He had an opportunity to have a conversation with a cool dude, and wasted it trying to play hard-ball interviewer.
