Tim's not in the middle nor "on the fence", that's one of his catch-phrases he says so much to make people think it's true. I also suspect it's so he can flip-flop his positions to try to cash in on both sides of the audience in the middle.

Tim's a leftist, just not far leftist. His buddy Adam Crigler was more right and closer to center than Tim, and Adam is a hippy vegan former skateboarder & male model who's totally red pilled and on the Trump train.
