The Libertarian Party is currently the fasted growing political party in the USA. I'm pretty sure it's only popular because it's the only political party in the country that supports weed and guns

The Democrats are too redpilled to support gun rights, and I've met Republicans who support weed legalization and republicans who don't.

I've got a bit of Libertarian in me, as most Trump supporters do - smaller Government, less regulations, more individual freedom.

When it comes to Marijuana, legalizing at a federal level is the worst thing that could happen. Decriminalize and open up banking to the industry, but legalization would be devastating for a few reasons -

  1. Legalization at a federal level would result in federal regulation. States have their own regs, but history has proven that federal regs are always more ominous.

  2. Legalization at a fed level would result in another layer of taxation, and for weed it would likely be quite substantial.

  3. Legalization at the fed level would result in big pharma buying up all the players in the market and creating monopolies. The entrepreneurial spirit that built the industry would be gobbled up overnight.

A true Libertarian would leave it to the states, IMO

Aye I do love both weed and guns but in the end weed is not that important to me that would alter my politics
