In Jan 11, 2012 Scytl purchased the company from Bill Murphy. In Nov 2014 SEO Software is still used in various counties and Bill Murphy responds to an Election day website meltdown that resulted in suppression of information on election day. He says, "We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience that this has caused for the votes of Dallas County. Over the last two election cycles we've had issues that we regret."
