Then I started seeing women's quartets call themselves "Female barbershop quartets." Why not continue to call themselves Sweet Adelines? Never really understood that.
They’ve had a woman’s group for years. It is exclusive but no more than their woman’s branch is exclusive. I can’t join their woman’s branch so that’s the same thing.
I’m joining my local chapter. Just send an e-mail to them to get the process started. I looked into this last week. My based hispanic wife wishes she could join too.
