Whether you want this to be true or not, it is. All people need boundaries. Some are quite capable of setting them up themselves. Some people THINK they would prefer there to be no boundaries and they go about flouting every thing that's decent about life. These people need boundaries set up for them. They don't fear law enforcement because law enforcement doesn't fight back.
Please don't paint all of law enforcement with the same brush. More police than you know are sick and fucking tired of these trust fund communists calling the shots on the streets.
I know plenty personally that are sick of it. So much so they left the department because the brass wouldn't let them do their jobs.
I get people have families to feed and bills to pay but why would that matter when your hometown gets burned to the ground. Or people are harassed and assaulted in public.
I know cops in rural or smaller cities do a good job and are stomping this crap out. But the majority of police it seems are fine just standing by "following orders"
