As a non US citizen this made it very clear for me, thank you for this.
If I understood correctly:
Trump has a straight shot to win this even if re-count/validation fails as long as he does NOT concede. Then it is to each state (one vote per state) and there are 36 states republican states...
So as long each republican state vote does his job........ blue salt will flow?
Yep, and if the house/new senators are not seated on Jan 3rd, then none are seated(entire house is up for election, only part of senate is) from the election and it goes to the senate. Where due to many retirements, more republicans are out than democrats, so it will be for a split second, majority democrat. BUT, more republican states have it in their constitution that in that case they can just pick two senators to represent them and send them to the senate. Majority Republican, Trump wins.
He wins by a majority vote of the House (more republican legislatures than dem, each state gets 1 vote).
He wins after Jan. 3 when House is dissolved due to constitutional requirements (If house and senate are not seated by the 3rd of Jan, they are unable to have any new reps/senators seated) and senate has for a moment majority democrats, but more republican states than Dem are able to just dictate who their senators are at that point, which gives the majority back to republicans and republicans elect. a senate leader who then appoints Trump.
Trust POTUS. He has the best team, and will get him a win.
Definitely.
