in 2016 there were recounts (which didn't go Hillary's way) and there was a tremendous push (especially by the media) to encourage faithless electors in the electoral vote to stop Trump from taking office. That didn't go Hillary's way either because Hillary ended up with more faithless electors than Trump did.
So as far as the election being over on the 9th in 2016, that's total horse shit. Especially since those same fuckwits in the media didn't accept that victory for the entirety of the last 4 years.

I remember dems giving MILLIONS to Jill whatever Green Party so that she could contest the results, then she just pocketed the money and did nothing lol.
Made a big stink, raised millions of dollars to do recounts in swing states/counties, found tens of thousands of extra trump votes, quietly disappeared with the cash.
