Reagan attacked well-paid labor from every angle he could. Flooding in the 3rd Worlders was part of that.
Attacks on "corrupt unions" today, are a crabs-in-a-bucket dynamic - Americans driven into poverty by "globalization," which broke our private-sector labor-union system, trying to pull-down the only people who still have decent wage/benefit packages.
I remember the argument against going Electronic was pretty much in response to 2000 election. Even though that was pretty much picking either head of the beast.
I'm starting to suspect that the 2000 election was a setup to push electronic voting systems. It was sold to the U.S public that "this should not happen again." In essence it was an easier means to cheat. The fact that tabulation machines are kept and ran by the same company whom have had issues in the past for compromise security. People should be up in arms not complacent.

Granted the Hanging Chads was the Democrats fault as I remember reading they were for them and Harris okayed it. So literally their loss that year was their own damn fault. Then again Gore's campaign was trash too so that helped.
I saw an unsubstantiated post that whatever hack they use was SUPPOSED to kick in in the 2016 election, but that Trump's team was aware of it, and they took the server down via a DDOS action. And, if you think about it, if they are using another server to flip the results, they probably are using "security by obscurity" - so they probably did not have a ton of server and back ups for that server. So if Trump's team was able to take the server down, they didn't have another one ready to go.
It kind of makes sense to me. It explains how they were all TRULY SHOCKED.
