He could also explicitly prevent the networks from broadcating white house pressers over the air, and force them to stream directly from the white house website or from tube channels, or to stream official videos after an event happened.; and a government streaming website, and allow other sites like CSPAN unlimited use; and the alt media can use it also.

Tube sites can use it or stream it; but it's no longer allowed to be broadcast over the air. This hurts the mainstream media the most. They cannot even use clips. They basically become long opinion talk shows with various unofficial "pictures" of white house. They can use small clips of Trump walking by.

He could also banish the white house press corps forever

The alt media could form a white house press union, call it 'white house press corp TWO' and go from there

What do you pedes think?

Do but keep 1 liberal outlet. So as to show everyone how corrupt their reporting truly is.

Do we keep Fox or do we keep MSNBC?

Just keep that guy from the HuffPost that says "Why do you lie so much!?"

The president can let him say it and ignore the question every time.

They're pretty much one in the same now.

Trump likes the spotlight of the media too much. That goes for the MSM especially. Just my opinion.

Yes, but I think he likes getting revenge more

This would do that. It woudl also destroy their networks

WHILE promoting the alt media.

In fact, it would treat both the alt media and traditional media the same. It levels the playing field

Alt media has NO money or special privilege or special lobbying in order to get the rigths to broadcast all over the world

but if you allow them both to have access to the same video clips they can use, then both medias are on the same field

I agree, I just don't think he needs to do it. I'd wait until January 21st. When he gets reelected, I sure do hope he does do it, though. He does things differently than just about anyone else would, though.

Chanel Rion from OANN has already started the National White House Correspondents Association by invitation only. Its in response to the WHCA removing "diversity and balance" from the WHCA. I say disband and revoke the passes of the WHCA and make them beg Chanel for entry.

He should. He'll still get some tough questions, but at least they'll be issue oriantated questions from jounalists looking for honest answers.

I believe some stupid federal judge or maybe even the supreme court ruled that he has to allow the press corps into the WH, and they get to pick their own members.

It was a completely unconstitutional ruling that I hope he ignores in his second term.

Don't forget he yanked the press pass of one dude for assaulting his microphone lady and was sued over it; he lost the suit (unsurprisingly since it was a leftist court) and didn't pursue appeals. I wish he had appealed, but seeing what's happened with this 2020 election I suspect a lot of things will be changing forever in the next 3 to 5 years... including the whole structure of the media in America.
