Our founding fathers had the foresight to put multiple trump cards in our Constitution to protect against insurrection and Trump will play every last one of them if necessary to save our Republic but the final trump card is the 2A and will be up to us patriots to play in order to stop this invasion

He will NOT use the insurrection act to strip states of their electoral college votes. You all can seriously just forget about that. He will not do that.

Genuinely interested in the assertiveness in your statement. Care to divulge?

First, I look at his history. He refused to use the insurrection act against the rioters this past summer. Yes, I know he was trying to give democrat mayors and governors enough rope to hang themselves with. But he still did not use it then, so I fail to see him using it now.

Second, this is a pretty severe nuclear option. I could see democrats (ab)using this option against us if we open that can of worms. Trump has been very careful to not open cans of worms during his first term.

Third...come on man, do you really think he would do that? Common sense says he won’t do it.

Using the constitution is a nuclear can of worms? You arguments are not very convincing?

If the insurrection can be irrefutably proven and the states remain defiant, he can, should, and will.

vote_for_MAGA_2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

totally agree, if insurrection can be proven. i just don't see that happening, even if we believe it did happen. proving that is nigh impossible, though I certainly hope his team tries. i would support the use of insurrection act if that can be proven.

Anyone with common sense

GunTottinPatriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

When CCP/DNC attempts a coup on US soil common sense goes out the fucking window, this is war

2
Sumarongi 2 points ago +3 / -1

Why is it in the constitution then?

Colluding with foreign powers to steal an election through fraud sounds like insurrection to me

1
vote_for_MAGA_2020 1 point ago +2 / -1

proving foreign powers interfered is going to be incredibly difficult. i'm sure the computer/phone you are using right now was made in another country. are you colluding with foreign powers by using that phone? of course not. the machines may have been manufactured elsewhere, but it was a contract sought by US government officials. i just don't see the argument that this counts as colluding with foreign powers.

And how would he win? Removing CA and NY?

1
Wu_Flu_Ca_Choo 1 point ago +1 / -0

At the very least I see the following states being stripped of their electoral votes for direct participation in this insurrection:

WA... allowing Chaz/Chop

OR... allowing Portland riots

PA... violating state law and direct orders from SCOTUS to not count ballots received after Nov 3rd in order to enable voter fraud

GA... limiting poll watchers for the audit/recount in order to enable voter fraud

MI... preventing GOP poll watchers from participating in watching the ballot count in Detroit

There may be others but those states had obvious participation IMO

1
Proda 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of the ones you mentioned only the first two could be considered legitimate insurrection, and they wouldn't be enough to win a majority in the electoral college, PA will most likely be won by lawsuit, and if so, I think Trump would also need another state other than PA to win in case OR and WA gets tossed by 14th amendment.

But I don't think Trump would use this in that case, because if he had won 2 lawsuits already, changes are he has enough ammo to win 3 or more and get 270.

I don't like the optics surrounding this option. As much as I agree with it (don't get me wrong, if he does it ill support him 100%), but I can't imagine this sitting well with the common centralist in America. If he does he'll first need to drop an overwhelming hammer on the election process that proves without a shadow of a doubt to the casual observer that Trump did indeed win this last election and was cheated to an absurd degree.

Fuck what the lefties think, they'll hate him/us no matter what. Its the everyman that doesn't pay close attention to politics that worries me.

Its the everyman that doesn't pay close attention to politics that worries me.

This is why I think Trump will at the very least dissolve MSM in order to stop the seditionist propaganda machine and institute patriotic education... it has taken 60 yrs for Communism to reach this point in America so it's definitely going to get worse before it gets better and the majority of the work will fall on the shoulders of patriots like us to educate the uneducated about the Constitution and dangers of socialism and communism

1
Wallsmither 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agree 100%, if it wasn't for the MSM there wouldn't be a modern democratic party (or at least one that's gone this fair off the rails). Though the MSM has been doing a fantastic job these last 4 years of throwing away the mask of "objectivity" and outing themselves as democratic party fluffers that even the most casual of viewer can see.

Not sure if that will work, if then these states are subtracted, Biden still has more than half. Or is 270 a fixed number in the constitution?

75 to 85 million people that voted for him would support this, which is way more than the 45 to 60 million that actually voted for Biden
