Big tech is the largest inhibitor of grass roots growth. If we don't have an independent platform to organize then we're setting ourselves up to be taken by the mob. Not every Trump supporter wants to be a Proud Boy, 3%er. or part of some religious evangelical movement. We need an umbrella that allows for organization of all those who support Trump and what he stands for.

I have as well but, counterpoint... The local elections thread had over 7000 upvotes (at the time one of the highest on the site) but when I went in the thread, only half the states had a post. In those subposts, only a few posts talked about state-wide initiatives on the ballot. The whole point of the thread was to show which politicians were maga and there were almost NO posts about local elections. The pede who made that thread had a brilliant idea and the perfect format but there was no engagement from the community. 7000 people upvoted the thread but didn't bother to leave ONE comment about a ballot initiative, politicians worth voting for, rinos to avoid, local initiatives, anything about the election having to do with their state, really. I can understand why people didn't because it's hard not to dox yourself posting things like that but whatever the reason, there was no engagement from the users. Edit: the thread ended up being almost useless, through no fault of the poster, and even though the mods said they'd keep the thread stickied until election, they pulled it off and let it zombie as a high upvote front page post.
