Like any career politician, the guy's a life long grifter. But to say he doesn't uphold Trump's interests is disingenuous. He may even be the single nail holding the GOP to its constituents. Guys like Cruz, Giuliani, Pompeo, Hawley, (and heck even Graham) - strongly worded letters and all - may not have had any teeth at all these last four years if it weren't for Mitch.
