I hate this stupid "2020 was the worst year ever" bullshit. What about 1918, when we got a pandemic right on top of a world war, with shit living standards that made both of those things 100 times worse than they would be now? Living standards got so bad in some places because of the war that the citizens would riot because they were starving, then they would be conscripted and sent to the trenches for rioting.
