I'm reading Orwell right now and this type of behavior is nowhere to be seen. Orwellian behavior would be being too afraid to even express your view going against the ominous party, not expressing support for a president vs a political opponent. Orwell's party had no visible political opposition in their own country, just underground resistance

Am I missing the point, or are words losing their meanings, one of the things Orwell ACTUALLY talked about?
