I grew up on Pepsi because my dad always drank it. I have a hard time drinking it now because after drinking Coke for awhile Pepsi seems way too sweet now. I don't know if the recipe changed in the last decade but it was noticeable when I switched back to Pepsi and found that I no longer liked it.
Pepsi used to be better briefly in the 80's when they had a cool logo and it came in short glass bottles.

Yea, it seems more syrupy than Coke. Coke is way more refreshing.
It was always too sweet. I feel like it leaves a coating on my teeth if I drink it. Never figured out why that was.
The infamous New Coke was made sweeter because Pepsi had taken such a large share. Costly mistake.
