One of the many reasons I hate browsing Reddit (both gun-related and “conservative/libertarian”), was constantly seeing the garbage about bump stocks and Jo Jorgensen... I agree the bump stock ban is unconstitutional, and I don’t agree with Trump when he said “take guns first, due process second”. But what Trump has said and done is nothing compared to what Democrats propose to do, and have already done;
NFA - signed in to law by a democrat
GCA - signed in to law by a dem
AWB - signed in to law by a dem
States with the most draconian gun laws in our nation, the laws that every conservative and libertarian mock and meme about? All run by democrats. RINOs can be just as bad too, but Democrats are consistently the worst offenders.Colion Noir explained it best and also here.
No coincidence they support the most tyrannical laws during the pandemic either.
Trump may not be perfect, no one is. But with him our voices are heard. With Democrats? Top kek for those that vote for ‘em and think they’ll be spared...
Also important is the context of the statement. Trump said to take the guns first, due process second in relation to people who are an imminent threat (like that parkland faggot posting on his YouTube account that he was gonna be the next school shooter). I still don’t necessarily agree with it but it is different than being a blanket statement about all guns and all situations.
And it’s worlds better than what the dems want to do which is to take everyone’s guns now, due process never.
[btw that parkland shooters YouTube account name was just his full name, he was reported to the FBI and they said there wasn’t enough to track him down]
Every reddit user has bots monitoring them. There is/are more foreigners posting than US citizens. The site still has uses just don't consider your interactions there (or really anywhere) organic.
Every single last 3 letter agency should be abolished
Hey, no! I am a retiree from the Lost Electricity Reclamation Administration, a proud division of the Department of Redundancy Department. Just think of the valuable work we do!
I assume this would get rid of regulations and tax stamps on suppressors, SBR, full-auto and such.
Trump should totally do it, it would signal to his supporters to go on a shopping spree for the unregulated stuff, which would be good for the economy. It'll also send a warning to leftist to stop fucking around with trying to trigger a civil war, as it's mostly people on the right who are so in to firearms they'll run out and buy all the stuff. Gun enthusiasts are typically on the right or are libertarian in the sense of "leave me alone and I'll leave you alone", so very unlikely to commit crimes with new gun goodies. Hordes of leftist ran out to buy guns hypocritically when the riots started, anti-gun groups are super weakened right now, and won't be able to put up that good of a fight against it. Media can't really smear Trump any more than they have already right now, and the public's mind is focused on self-protection and staying safe right now. Once the public has all the goodies, it'll be really hard to reel it back all in in the future.
It looks like no real downsides for doing it, but so many upsides. Do it!
Repeal the NFA, GCA 1968, GCA 1984.
And abolish the ATF!

"The fact that you shoulder it doesn't mean that brace is no longer a brace."
this is already the official stance of the ATF.
edit: *for now
No argument there.

Preach, brother!
Witness!
Every law restricting firearm features constitutes infringement, and is unconstitutional on it’s face. Yet, here we are.

By "GCA 1984" do you mean FOPA 1986? (no such thing as GCA 1984) - FOPA was good except for the Hughes Amendment.
