I think the reason for this is that what makes them amused is that they are imagining us looking at the meme and getting upset about it.
Your average leftist does not love communism because they think that life will be better under it. They love the idea of nobody being allowed to do better than they are. The also all think they will be given license to arrest, imprison, torture and murder deplorables.
So what they like about their memes is they imagine it offends us and makes us feel anguish and humiliation.
And to take it further, our memes are created from core truths that are easy to understand, which is why they are so effective. There memes are almost always artificial and therefore inept (Joepedo).
