Nearly. I noticed about a year and a half ago that the format switched from original duckduckgo to a similar format to google in appearance. Controlled opposition is a thing, and lefties have no originality. So it stands to reason that it changed visually to be more appealing to those that were used to google, but trying to escape it, and finding something somewhat similar, would be willing to give it a chance, and learn to trust it, before having the veil lifted.
