Sort of a long post, but please bare with me.

I listen to Ben's podcasts a lot, and agree with him on many issues (although I consider myself more of a constitutionalist rather than a libertarian like him), up until he started talking about the election. First he kept saying how Trump was going to get trounced because of what the "polls" were saying, and that you had to believe in the polls, because the polling institutions "had an interest in being accurate, since that's their job", never once considering that they could be as skewed and partisan as everything else, especially in trying to suppress Republican votes.

After it was proven how wrong the polls were, then he back-pedals and says how it was a "referendum against democrats" that the polls were so off, never once admitting he was completely wrong. Fast forward to now, and he starts talking about voter fraud, jumping right in line with all the other idiots that said there was little chance of real fraud, and even if there were, it would only affect "a few hundred votes at most".

Then the info about the 6,000 vote switch in Michigan came out, all the poll watcher shenanigans, the USPS whistleblower, etc. Then he back-pedals AGAIN, saying that there were thousands of votes that could be affected, but it couldn't possibly be tens or hundreds of thousands of votes. Finally the other day, he's STILL saying he doesn't see much evidence of fraud in GA, one of the absolute hotbeds of the controversy.

Now, I get the guy bases a lot of his commentary on data and evidence, which is what I like about him, but he's totally burying his head in the sand on this one, and I just don't know why. Seems really out of character for him from what I've heard in the past. He's got a powerful voice in the conservative community, and you'd think he'd want to use that to get the information out there, but it's almost like he's afraid to do it because he doesn't want to take the risk of being potentially wrong, despite the overwhelming proof to the contrary. What the hell is wrong with him? I've been feeling pretty betrayed by him lately. Going to start listening to Charlie Kirk more, as he's not afraid to talk about what's really going on.

TLDR, why is Ben Shapiro cucking it up so much lately and acting like there's no evidence when there's tons of it?
