That's interesting (that plastic seems to be similar to teflon, if not exactly.) So- as a wrap for gluing, or even as a layer between the gripper of a clamp- it would tend to resist wood-glues? Useful information!

Saran is good for that, too.

Saran is also good for expanding urethane foam - peels right off with a smooth surface remaining!
