It is true that the vast majority of legal immigrant citizens vote for the socialist dems and we need to fix our immigration and citizenship obtainment system big time. However, if an immigrant citizen truly believes in the concepts of liberty and self-responsibility, I think they should be able hold office. If they truly believe in the Constitution and love America it should be okay. Many of the Founding Generation were born in the British Isles but they too believed in liberty as the colonials did.
