Ask yourself: does it make sense to you that Reagan and Nixon both won 49 states (1984 and 1972, respectively) and were never able to flip the House? I understand gerrymandering was probably worse back then, but it still makes no sense.

I’d say probably Eisenhower. With a couple accidents in between where someone forgot to complete their part of the fraud scheme.
