If everyone would stop complying at once, there would not be enough resources to enforce it. But how do we get through to the sheep and stupid people?

322
Zude [S] 322 points ago +323 / -1

Yeah, that is the major problem for sure. They're just so terrified by the media brainwashing that just involves using a very alarmed tone of voice and throwing some meaningless but large number of "cases" out there. I don't know if I see a way out unless people can wake the fuck up and do a bit of critical analysis. I never would have thought that inclination or ability had been so deeply diminished.

Well the time of the red pill is upon us this week. If people do not wake up during these proceedings, they may never wake up.

I think its to the point, let the left destroy itself, all leftwing businesses and everything. We must come out in mass and support anyone that stays open/support them ONLY. Do not give a dime to anything leftwing, they can live in fear and reap what they sow along with it.

It is sad that businesses feel they have to cave to these freaks who make a lot of noise and do not buy any of their products in the first place. HONK!

16
PromiseImNotASpook 16 points ago +16 / -0

It’s sad that many businesses support these shut downs and vote for politicians that are dead set on enforcing them. I know so many business owners that say “well, my business is the sacrifice I must make to save humanity”. These people think this is the end of humanity. It’s become a fucking death cult. How long until these people start culling themselves to “slow the spread”? That sounds insane but if someone on TV mentioned you would have sheep following lockstep off the cliff.

10

By the way, for future reference, actually-based businesses usually don't engage in rapid fast-scale expansions into leftist cities with the effort backed by a slick marketing and advertising campaign. I always figured it was a case of classic brand arbitrage: Chick-Fil-A had a sterling reputation, especially among conservatives, which almost certainly left the company, by classic reckoning, severely underleveraged. That's pure money on the table to a veteran executive-level product/group/brand director, and their growth is the result of someone realizing it.

Either none of the original executive team had anything to do with this, or they were sold a bill of goods on being able to maintain their brand values (which as noted have become severely compromised).

I never bothered to look any of this up during the expansion, however, because I don't eat fast food anymore!

I dont even know what search string to try to find chick fil a owner stops being right wing and starts being left wing. It was like 5 minutes ago that lesbians were making out in front of chick fil a to protest who their owner personally donates to, and conservatives were gleefully gnawing on chicken sandwiches in front of them to troll. I cant keep up with every flip flop and who i should or shouldnt buy from. Their chicken definitely is not overrated, and it isnt the only reason to eat there.

Sadly, I don't think we'll see wide spread resistance against this idiocy until people start being impacted severely.

They'll feel that when their managers/owners realize that if they have to pay a salary to an employee that works from home 24/7, they may as well shop around on the open market for cheaper labor. When you telecommute, what's difference if you're in the same city, or county, or state, or... country. What's that? Is that India on the phone, offering a lower bid than Malaysia? Restaurants here in St. Louis County are filing a lawsuit against new lockdown orders coming into effect Tuesday. Hope to be back open by Friday with an injunction against the county exec.

I just wish our Governor would call out these health care scaremongers by name and shift the blame to them. They had 6 months to prepare for this and their solution was to lay off nurses and cut the number of beds because no one was having elective procedures done.

I haven't been able to eat at a restaurant in the county or city because of their idiotic mask requirement. Guess St Charles, Jefferson, & Franklin counties are really enjoying the increase in tax revenue, every weekend I go out to those counties and get a semi-normal restaurant experience. Hell, I even went over to the metro east last week when it was 70 degrees out, had to eat outside but I didn't even need a mask.

1
M1919A2 1 point ago +1 / -0

My father still has a house out in Lake St. Louis. We've been able to go out there for lunch and refill our own cups the works for months now. We typically go out to eat for Thanksgiving on my side of the family. There's not enough of us left to make a big deal of it. So we're waiting to see what happens as we have reservations at Capitol Grill. If those get cancelled we'll look for something out in St. Charles.

12
Frog_Anne 12 points ago +12 / -0

I've heard from people a few times over the years about churches in communist countries, where some have to be so careful to stay under the radar. It's feeling more and more like that is coming here (if Bribehim has his way). Churches that have buildings and tax status could be punished, but even churches without their own building could find themselves targeted if they violate orders. It's easy to say they should just stand up, but if members of the church are targeted with heavy fines or investigations, not all members can afford to pay those unjust fines.

16
4more 16 points ago +16 / -0

Churches are major threats to communists because it’s a group of people that can organize against the communists. Their whole m.o. is to have a country full of people with no connections to one another all fighting for scraps so they can’t organize against a common enemy communism.

Not so easy to remove a Church's tax exempt status. It is federal law, and state law in just about every state. In most cases they are not given preferential treatment over other non-profits, the exemption is typically for all non-profits equally

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0
1
TheMAGAMachine2020 1 point ago +9 / -8

This is why churches should be trying to go completely cashless and reach their congregations through technology and come up with a system to socialize without needing a building. Making a deal for tax exempt status with the government was the worst deal the church ever made.

My prediction is that we'll be far richer in 10 years than we are today because we're not that exposed to the markets and sitting on a mountain of liquidity at the moment. That being said I expect us to be picking up another 220 acres of farmland in the near future at very reasonable prices. I expect we'll pick up another 400 - 500 in the next decade as farmers around us are cash strapped and one bad harvest from having to sell land to stay afloat.

18

No that's not it at all. You guys don't get it.

It's not about eating outside it's about expanding seating capacity so that when the ahole governor says 25% capacity then the restaurant can seat some people outside and have extra 25% capacity.

17
UpTrump 17 points ago +17 / -0

Idk, out here in CA you can't sit inside but you can sit in outdoor tents

9
Ophelia 9 points ago +9 / -0

Then I retract my statement! Here in cold wet Commie York we are limited to 25% total capacity but no worries you can eat outside too!

It's WINTER now!

15
Tellman125 15 points ago +15 / -0

But haven't you seen how most of those outdoor areas are now enclosures with HARD plastic walls all around them?! It's so insane

1
Rockonanon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Here in CT it is actually mandated that the outdoor seating can only be partially enclosed. I'm a carpenter and we just built a structure for a restaurant. It's about 8 feet wide by 60 feet long, has a tall shed roof, and some knee walls. It's probably about 40% open (which is what I think the regulation states). With the heaters running, it should be comfortable most nights, but on a windy night I don't think it will do the job.

I like framing outside so I am happy for the work, but I really hate all this COVID bullshit I am so sick of it and it doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. It's starting to really feel like I'm living in a bad dystopian sci-fi movie, at least here in CT, anyway.

Once Trump is re-elected, he should sign an executive order proclaiming:

  1. COVID vaccine is free, but will not be forced on you.
  2. The pandemic is over and all lockdown mandates are hence forth illegal. Taxes and what not go back to normal, so if your not open, prepare to be foreclosed.
  3. Governors and mayors attempting to maintain the lockdowns will be seen as being in rebellion against the federal government and will be forcibly removed by the state national guard.
6
MajJamesMcFarlane 6 points ago +6 / -0

He could have ended this months ago by just ending the federal state of emergency.

3

Now people are sick of it and he won’t have to worry about optics anymore after his re-election.

2

Big doubt. Trump needed to be a big boy while everyone else was screaming and crying like toddlers and pulled the plug. If the states think that things really are that bad they can fund their kabuki theater on their own without the knowledge the Federal largesse will be there to bail them out

1
matrik 1 point ago +1 / -0

I like the way you think. Small point to add. Each state's "National" Guard is under the command of the Governor. So either the Lt. Gov. would have to be on board with declaring the Gov unfit, or GEOTUS would have to use federal forces, which can't be active military, unless martial law is declared. So that leaves federal LE.

4
they-see-me-trollin 4 points ago +4 / -0

the problem is numbers closing in... 2020's official death numbers closing will show how much of a farce this was in the first place.

9
Rginap 9 points ago +9 / -0

It's been so clear but then you have idiots making excuses like how other countries have their shit together and USA don't. This will all go away if we all turn off our TV and stop listening to the evil politicians! And stop getting tested!

FFS we do the most testing compared to other countries, that's why our numbers are increasing, not because we are handling it worst.

All America would need to do is stop exporting food to China; just the threat alone would send their population into civil war mode. Send money and arms to different potential CCP factions and let them fight it out, and negotiate with the weakened survivors.

Time to make China Three Kingdoms Again!

10
MegaMagaManX 10 points ago +10 / -0

Unfortunately that would crush our farmers who are already struggling.

I have a feeling as to why the NWO wants to conquer America, to seize our assets and fertile lands. CCP depleted their resources and heavily overfished their waters. Also encroached on foreign waters. No wonder they eat the weirdest shit

Fuck chy-nuh, they exploit nature into oblivion with zero conservation efforts.

11
DC_Rogue 11 points ago +11 / -0

For the farmers, establish a National Grain Reserve to buy up excess production as China drops out of the market, stabilize the farmers' livelihood, and as a long-term benefit weaponize America's agricultural capacity; countries can choose between the NWO or eating.

3
Sporadica 3 points ago +3 / -0

We have this in Canada, in a sense. We reserve a percentage of our wheat and other grains stored in elevators on the prairies. We actually had at start of covid 4 years worth of wheat stored but what we lacked was flour mills to handle the spike in demand with home cooking and mill shutdowns and such

I am so sick of this faggot shit! The fatality rate is astronomically low. By shutting down they are going to destroy people’s jobs and put their livelihoods at stake just like they did back in March.

These fucks don’t give a shit about safety. This is a pure power grab, to remind the citizenry who’s in charge and to see how many they can control.

This has to end.

25
Zude [S] 25 points ago +25 / -0

They're really abusing and torturing the citizenry. I don't know what the end goal is. They don't seem to be letting up on the brake (or the gas, however you want to frame the metaphor). It doesn't seem like a warning. It seems like a goal to destroy everything. I can't believe it, but that's just very much how it seems.

23
MAGALogic 23 points ago +23 / -0

The end goal is to crash everything and scoop everything up cheap with the printed bail out money. The great reset is the greatest economic heist in human history.

19

Subjugation. If they put everyone on the verge of bankruptcy, then the government swoops in, tells everyone they're confiscating their homes and all their possessions, but they can continue living there and taking a stipend in exchange, then we go to full taxation in order to pay for it.

Boom. Full-blown communism.

The problem is they haven't figured out WHY or HOW the virus is being transmitted. They're basing EvERYTHING on the 1918 Flu science because that's all they've got. (So much for nearly a century of R&D funding)

We have mandatory mask orders in place in my state and the infection rates are skyrocketing - the same mask orders that were in place over the summer and it didn't. That infers UV kills the virus and the masks and social distancing did NOTHING.

But remember - gotta believe the SCIENCE. (oh and my state has consistently held a 1% death rate after the stacked nursing home infections. That's still not great but it's far from the plague they were hyping up.)

9
MAGALogic 9 points ago +9 / -0

They are lying. Transmission is like any other cold virus. Masks can not stop a virus that is what 2 microns large? All a mask can do is reduce viral load when it is suspended in the air, However, reduction of viral load still means it is still up to your immune system to stop the virus.

Sweden was right to pursue a quicker herd immunity.

4
Bookbound 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's the crazy thing. We don't know how it is transmitted, but we're certain you can't do anything mildly interesting or fun or you're sure to catch or spread it.

12
Jaqen 12 points ago +12 / -0

Show them the numbers. “Cases” are the denominator. The larger the denominator, the better!

How many people are exposed to SARS -COV-2, in the end? Answer: everyone. Every last man, woman and child will be exposed to it, given enough time. There is no escaping this fact.

When they reject the numbers, show them again. Pound it into their heads over and over again till it sticks. Be methodical. Be precise.

10
Aquamine-Amarine 10 points ago +10 / -0

Just because you have it doesn't mean you're going to die from it. The case number isn't what we should be looking at, it's the death number. And that is much lower than the amount of people who got Covid. But facts don't matter to the left.

I feel the same way. It’s extremely depressing. I only know a handful of people who aren’t COVID paranoid and insist we need more lockdowns. 7
MAGALogic 7 points ago +7 / -0

That is why we must help out each other, family, neighbors and community. They want to splinter us and fill us with fear.

20
Skywise 20 points ago +24 / -4

So the actual SCIENCE is that COVID hangs around in enclosed spaces - especially sucked in by circulation systems and then reblown back out.

The irony is that that infers that it's aerosolized - generally flu viruses are heavy and don't go any further than a sneeze range - aerosolized means it'll float around ready to be breathed in.

But the CDC and WHO won't CONFIRM that (although I've seen studies that say it is).

Being in a building (with all the environmental green laws now) means that the air stays in the house/restaurant/bar and increases the likelihood of getting it.

In a tent, even with it being enclosed, you're getting enough breeze and fresh air in that the virus will be either diluted or blown out entirely.

24
unicornpoop 24 points ago +25 / -1

The actual SCIENCE shows covid19 is just another run of the mill covid virus, and less deadly than a whole handful of other strains that we've been living with for decades.

11
MAGALogic 11 points ago +11 / -0

That is correct.

For current Sars 2 to be still around it had to have an advantageous mutation which means it has to become less deadlier over time to spread more readily.

Like all other viruses herd immunity is the best way to stop the spread of the novel corona virus.

4
mateus 4 points ago +5 / -1

Bingo. That's what eventually happens with all virus strains: they mutate into less of a threat than they were initially, and circulate annually as one of the many flus we see.

If the population hadn't been masked and put under house arrest, this virus would have already run its course, or would've been nearly there.

This was all about the election, with an experiment in controlling the population (surprisingly easy) an added bonus.

6
Nibba 6 points ago +7 / -1

I’ve seen a whole lot of “science” showing that it acts just like the influenza you described. Hence why masks are supposed to be the ultimate end all of covid according to blue politicians. Maybe you’re a blue shill.

6
Skywise 6 points ago +7 / -1

Me too - that it should spread no more than 6 feet (social distancing y'all!)

I've also seen studies that suggest 12 feet (it's lighter) and the aerosolized ones.

But back to the regular influenza social distancing range - if that were true... then there's no need to restrict inside vs outside dining as social distancing is enough for restaurants. And yet, what are the guidelines? Why won't they just say "it's aerosolized". No, they order the shutdown but don't provide the evidence and that's been the whole damn problem with this pandemic from day 1. Do as we tell you. Why? Because we say so.
That's NOT America let alone the American way - that's outright communist rule.

3
19702020 3 points ago +3 / -0

the three ways diseases spread is Contact, Droplet and Airborne. influenza is considered droplet but has components of airborne covid-1 is droplet with components of airborne covid-2 was first said to be droplet, then airborne now back to droplet with components of airborne.
the difference between droplet and airborne is the particle size.

1
Redpillgirlfrommars 1 point ago +1 / -0

To be frank, social distancing can fuck off right along with everything else. I’m so sick of hearing “OmG MuH SoCiAl dIsTaNcInG!”.

Everything about covid (aside from it being a virus) is a fucking sham. Everything.

3
pede9000 3 points ago +3 / -0

The science is, if a business wants to buy a HEPA air filter to kill COVID every 10-30 minutes, all they have to do is spend 200-600 ish

4
Skywise 4 points ago +4 / -0

Right - which is odd because that should be relatively easy for the city governments to verify. (Works for planes, right?)

And yet...

3
MAGALogic 3 points ago +4 / -1

Yes, between dust, and particulate matter you are safer outside than inside. That probably explains why there was a surge of cases in Florida during the summer. HVAC systems and ducts are notorious breeding grounds for pathogens and if you don't change you filter often enough it can be a problem.

Why do people agree to this idiocy? Just ignore it

I'm not a business owner. I can't force THEM to resist.

It’s not science. It’s political science.

I wasn't aware of this until I logged onto here, but here in New Mexico we're getting round two. https://cv.nmhealth.org/2020/11/13/n-m-hits-reset-re-enacting-most-heightened-level-of-statewide-public-health-restrictions/ I love the last line. "A mass gathering also does not include individuals who are public officials or public employees in the course and scope of their employment."

You have to, but not me. Fuck this state.

I'm wondering the same thing. I've seen stuff on cities - Chicago starts a lockdown tomorrow and NYC's new parameters started Friday at 10 pm. It's not a lockdown, though. It's like no more than 10 person gatherings that can't last more than 3 hrs & everything has to close by 10 pm (bars, gyms, etc).

And yanno makes sense actually cause covid is nocturnal.

Democrats and RINOs = anti science.

The commies are overtly trying to crash the economy for their great reset.

Big tent making out big. In seriousness this stuff is ridiculous. Support your local family restaurants if you can.

In a lot of places the businesses are the ones that do the policing of this ridiculous mandate......

I would not do business with establishments that are that draconian IMO. Find businesses that do not treat customers like dirt.

This is both OUT-rageous and IN-sane!

How is anyone even allowing more lockdowns to happen

They all claim to be leaders in the community, but the only thing they lead is the charge into their basement. I don't take any business or university/college seriously after this and not a single one gets a shred of my respect.

People like the old barber guy that stayed open have my respect, but none of the others that obeyed.

Like all dumbass laws people will find a way around them. Look at our tax code.

Can someone do data analysis to compare countries with strict lockdowns and second lockdowns with countries that locked down once or not at all. The number of cases , economical impact?

I’m sure countries with no lockdowns have done better against covid.

MAGALogic 3 points ago +3 / -0

Sweden is probably often cited as an example.

geckogreen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Florida stopped all lockdowns and masks and the deaths chart is rapidly going down.
