This has been happening since election day. People are expecting the worst from a "Biden Presidency".

For sure it has been. Friday, Northam announced that Sunday at midnight were heading back into lockdowns. Here we are lol.

Since then I really noticed the shelves clearing out, but today I was curious and drove up to check it out.

Because they’re realizing Trump won.

Right because the past 4 years with Trump has been starvation.

Dang I forgot to grab milk today. I was doing so well. At least most of my supplies are stocked after the last one. How is everyone else holding up?

It's hard to find it here lately, but UHT milk is worth keeping around. Shelf life of 6 months.

I now have a pantry / freezer that will last 2 months without rationing but need a better rotation system for the freezer, this is all normal food and supplies I use.

Where so you find this amazing product I am just now learning about with great curiosity? (No /s) How have I never heard of this. Before it was fridge or powdered.. I’m intrigued. Tell me more please.

every store carries it - the full fat version tastes better, and my local dollar store has it for a buck

Is it boxed milk? What other items would I find it around? The soy and rice milks?

clbrto 2 points ago +2 / -0

yeah

Old school elementary milk. Sweet... Thanks for the suggestions and clarification all!

If your store has it, it might be in the baking aisle near condensed milk.

Safeway was a bust so far.

Brought so much canned tomatoes and beans (store brand for short term use, GOYA for longer term storage and use when the lock-down lasts longer than expected), that I am sure that my family is a bit annoyed at me.

They can thank me later if the lock down strikes.

Lol. Better Beans than nada.

I believe I have over purchased yeast... and am praying my new entry to canning won’t see my untimely end. Fun 2020 style!

What if covid was just a scheme for investors in shit paper companies to get rich?

lol... it's so tiresome how stupid these fucks are. If you really weren't able to buy that shit you'd be dead. This wouldn't be 2020.

Lol yea Vogue was the first to come back on the shelves last time around. That and “see through” Scott. Sure they’re gone by now though, this was some hours ago.

Is that a package of TP on the shelf? You're better off than we are in NM.

Or anticipating the truck strikes . . . . 🤔

My Safeway was all out of eggs... I was surprised, didn't correlate it to anything... this makes sense

We've been buying extra toilet paper for the last couple months.

What I can't find is my favorite tea!

Good for you, I am originally from there, was there visiting family there recently. It's a completely different world in certain parts of VA.

"willingly letting my government do this to me" - no, I am not. But I live here and Northam was elected, what legal options do I have? Raise hell and get fired from my job? Move? I guess the later could work, but it doesn't change anything I'll leave behind. Honestly, that's a selfish position, as I'll be abandoning the area and can't help redpill people if I leave.

"you get what you deserve" - what else do you think I could do to change it? today I was in the gym and some loser asked me to pull my mask up over my nose because I was trying to breathe. Does that mean I should stop going to the gym? That only harms me. there is no gym within 100 miles that doesn't require masks, so "taking my business elsewhere" isn't an option.

judging by your post history, I imagine your answer will be some type of "it's unconstitutional and Northam is committing treason, rise up and give him what he deserves!" which is not the proper response, at all.

that's the ultimate liberal move- insult me rather than answer a simple question. "what else do you think I could do to change it?" if you're not willing to invest a smidge of critical thinking to support your statements, you don't belong here, you belong on reddit. don't be like them.
