“You don’t wear a mask, you just don’t care about people dying.”
... Honestly, they’re right. Who cares? We’re all going to die eventually. And if this actually were a scourge from God, a punishment for our evil, what authority would we have to try to evade it?
People are supposed to die of disease. That’s NORMAL. Not a tragedy at all. The tragedy is going to hell forever when the Gospel is easily found these days.
I’ve more or less had this opinion from day one but everyone makes you feel like monster for it. I just don’t care. I want all people to come to Christ, but I don’t personally care how some statistics die or with what degree of pain. I bet you can count the number of people you’ve seen die in front of you on one hand. You don’t know what death is.
This has revealed the ultimate heresy. There are “Christians” who think that the way one’s life ends, besides regarding grace or sin, has some kind of value. They think their lives have value, besides, of course, in the way they cooperate with grace.
I love everyone but death is only tragic if you’ve got no Hope. And that’s not my fault. If the actual PLAGUE came back it still wouldn’t be “courteous” to wear masks.
Try this one: "my body, my choice". If your debating a lefty, this will likely infuriate them, can't make a distinction between risking their life without making a pro-life argument.
