What is it that people don't get. ONLY the legislature is authorized (by the Constitution, which is basically an 'instruction manual' of how our government is supposed to work) -- only that particular branch of government, the legislature, makes laws. Neither the executive branch (president, governors, etc.) nor the Judicial branch (courts and judges) can make or change law. NONE of them. The Judicial branch is tasked with interpreting law, not making it. It's frustrating that so many people apparently don't know this.

Not my rules, rules of law. And yeah, I know they don't care, but that doesn't mean they win. The law wins, but those who care about the law have to care enough to make sure it's followed.
