Many horrible and awful sins are spoken of in the bible, but it does not condone them. Neither does it teach followers of god to be violent.
There is the OLD law, which requires an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. And it also requires stoning to death those that have sex outside of marriage, circumcision, no eating pork, shellfish etc. and many other things that we do every day.

Actually Jesus never said the law was rescinded, in fact He said "For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Death of the Law on the Cross is Pauline dogma.
He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. But we as christians are not under the law, we are dead to the law.

At my kindest I'd say he's on the level of a preacher, but his words do not and could not ever supercede Jesus' own. He made far too much doctrine from his own wisdom, he claimed to be an Apostle when he really shouldn't have taken that title without being given it, and he claimed to see Jesus in the desert when Jesus himself literally said "If they say, he is in the desert, believe them not." To my knowledge, most if not all scriptural conflicts spring from Paul.

Fulfill does not mean destroy. And Jesus said that Himself. It means to fulfill the prophecies about the messiah, and to fulfill the need for a sacrificial lamb. He also says those who teach lawlessness, and cause others to do so, will be called "least" by those in Heaven. Interesting side note, look up what the name Paul means.

According to Acts, god himself testified to others of Paul. "He is a chosen vessel unto me." And he was filled with the holy spirit. And by his mighty works through done through Paul god testified of the truth of his words. So does god's testimony mean nothing, or is acts also untrue?

I didn't know there was even a term for how I ended up seeing the Bible this way for years afterward, but Hebraic Christianity is what I've learned it's called, if you're interested in researching more. Here are some links if you want to read arguments which are better written out than mine.
I see where you may be trying to lead, and I do not doubt the veracity of Jesus, Revelation, or the Tanakh. I believe that Acts is a historical account, that those epistles were indeed sent, but we are told to be discerning of all prophets. We should have even rejected Jesus if He could not show proof and if He spoke out of line with God's will.
The Devil cannot fool "even the very elect" if he does not share some truth as well as deceit. He can use signs to "authenticate" a speaker, but when the tongue of the speaker says untruth, or when others use this to develop anti-Christ theology, that's the line for me. The linchpin in my argument is the contradiction that Paul preaches, ie. the death of the Law, against all prior rulings of God and Jesus. It is not in consensus with everything Jesus worked towards in His own ministry. I don't believe that Jesus would mislead us for three years and then say "I rescind the Twelve and all My Father's teaching with the divergent teachings of this one man".
So yes, I'm not sure where Paul stands with the Lord, in the end. It's not my place to judge his heart, or the hearts of those who built entire traditions upon Pauline sand instead of the Rock of Peter laid down by Jesus, but it is my place to take care of my own soul.

Peter puts in a good word for Paul here. He’s not warning them to stay away from Paul’s teachings.

The official 12 Apostles was settled in Acts 1. This quickly becomes a lengthy topic on the uses of apostle in the New Testament: big A Apostle versus little a apostle meaning “sent one”.
Why might it not check out? Saul/Paul's conversion is a little strange to my eyes, in that he was not travelling alone, yet Jesus only appeared to Saul (tbh he didn't even see Him, he saw a light and was blinded), while they were out in the middle of nowhere, on the road between cities? Why did Jesus not simply show Himself bodily to the whole group as He had before, so that Paul may have fellow witnesses as was so important in God's Law, and was Jesus' own typical way of approaching people so that they may believe Him? No, this is not the reason I take Paul's words with a large grain of salt, his own teachings are. But it's strange. Why would Jesus have his whole earthly ministry saying "I'm not abolishing the law," and His own 12 Apostles chosen specifically by Him, and then go call someone completely separately to preach a different "Law is dead" gospel? Are you saying that Jesus made a mistake in His teachings?
The truth that the church does not want to hear, is that we need to test Paul like we were commanded by God to do with any other prophet, and if ANY word of his contradicts the word of God, we throw his prophecies out. Or else, at best, we might accept that perhaps Paul was indeed converted at first, but then, as many do, began falling away from the words of Jesus and God, creating his own "unique" teachings and following. As for that Barnabas quote, Nobody will deny that Paul boldly preached in the name of Jesus. But again, was what he was preaching always sound? Or did it lead many toward a path of destruction?
"Twist to their own destruction" are telling words in Peter's letter. Peter himself couldn't have known how true that was going to turn out. "Wrote to you according to the wisdom given him" and "Things in them that are hard to understand" isn't really telling us much about what Peter thought about the actual doctrine that Paul was trying to push. Nothing he wrote is specifically a glowing review, Peter just sees him as a fellow believer and preacher. Also, you are taking the one part out of 2 Peter, while ignoring the context around it. Read the whole letter. See how Peter himself defines the Apostles, and their role in witnessing Jesus. See how he warns against lawlessness and false teachings. In fact, the very verses you quoted, are followed immediately by this crucial one: "You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error oflawless peopleand lose your own stability. " Think about why Peter might mention Paul specifically, and then follow up with that. To me, Peter is saying very diplomatically, to cling to the words and principles of God and Jesus, no matter what others say.
And you did not broach the real meat of my issue with Paul, and how the modern church elevates Pauline theology over that of Jesus, God's actual Son and the Messiah. Who do you trust more? If there is any contradiction, why automatically trust Paul to be some "overwriter" of the Law? What do you think of Jesus saying in no vague manner that the Law would not be abolished or even edited? Jot (yod/iota) tittle are both terms for parts of the script itself -- yod is a Hebrew letter, the smallest of them all, and even it is not to be removed from God's commandments.
And yes. Apostle means "sent". Sent is a passive verb, sent by the power of another. By Jesus. It was a title and job He gave to 12 men, the 12 He chose to be at His side as he preached, who traveled with Him pre-crucifixion, the best witnesses possible. It was a title and a count that was apparently so important, that the Apostles had an election to fill the one vacancy left by Judas. And yet Paul calls himself that, not by any other authority. There is no scriptural evidence where Jesus, or anyone else, tells Paul he is an apostle. Again, if this was how it was meant to be, that the title could be passed on to anyone, then sure, why not. But show me proof of that. There is no other precedent outside the strict election of Matthias for a strict "seat", and again, I'm not inclined to believe only the words of a man who taught we were free from God's commandments, when Jesus our Messiah, the Anointed had harsh words for those who did so.
More of Jesus' words, in case miracles are enough in your mind, to "prove" Paul's doctrine was sound: "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."
It all boils down to this.... Who do you trust more? Where lies your true faith? In Jesus or in Paul?
The answer is given by Jesus already. Always look at the context. Don't take things out of their context.

For means because. Do x thing because y reason. Jesus says, take these two swords guys, so that scripture might be fulfilled.
“And he was numbered with the transgressors.”
The Romans did not allow Jews to walk around armed.
Peter tries to use his sword, not understanding that they carry them only as a pretext, and so Jesus rebukes him. Put up your sword, for those that live by the sword shall be killed by the sword.
A mistaken interpretation is not justification to disobey every clear and direct command Jesus gave to his followers. Do no violence to any man (he told SOLDIERS). Love your enemies.
Jesus' words are for those who live for heaven, and who are willing to throw away their lives to gain it. Not many are, and there are a great number of false teachers who contradict Jesus' plainly stated words and deceive many, so be wary.
A better question for those that don't understand the difference between God's commands before and after Christ is, what does Jesus say?

This is law given by God to Moses for judging the Jews. But what does Jesus say about this old testament law?

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
So, Jesus here is contradicting previous Old Testament LAW, given directly by god. Will you follow Jesus' words, or Old testament law?

Well, if you'd hoped to justify yourself before God by your own good behavior and WITHOUT Jesus, the only way to do that would be by following the law as God gave to the Jews, so that you could have access to the sacrifices of the high priest that you'd need. Nothing of the sea without scales, cloven feet, cud chewing etc. and you'd also need to offer sacrifices to the high priest whenever you made a mistake.

Defensive violence is biblical
Many horrible and awful sins are spoken of in the bible, but it does not condone them. Neither does it teach followers of god to be violent.
There is the OLD law, which requires an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. And it also requires stoning to death those that have sex outside of marriage, circumcision, no eating pork, shellfish etc. and many other things that we do every day.
But then Jesus came and set us free from the law, and now all these things are clean for us to eat, and we can obtain forgiveness and mercy through him rather than be killed for our sin. We no longer follow the OLD law, and we are in fact told not to, as it will only lead us to our death.
Jesus says to do no violence to any man. If you are violently struck in the face, turn and offer them the other side of your face to hit again. LOVE your enemies. Bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those that persecute you.

At my kindest I'd say he's on the level of a preacher, but his words do not and could not ever supercede Jesus' own. He made far too much doctrine from his own wisdom, he claimed to be an Apostle when he really shouldn't have taken that title without being given it, and he claimed to see Jesus in the desert when Jesus himself literally said "If they say, he is in the desert, believe them not." To my knowledge, most if not all scriptural conflicts spring from Paul.

Fulfill does not mean destroy. And Jesus said that Himself. It means to fulfill the prophecies about the messiah, and to fulfill the need for a sacrificial lamb. I see where you may be trying to lead, and I do not doubt the veracity of Jesus, Revelation, or the Tanakh. I believe that Acts is a historical account, that those epistles were indeed sent, but we are told to be discerning of all prophets. We should have even rejected Jesus if He could not show proof and if He spoke out of line with God's will.
The Devil cannot fool "even the very elect" if he does not share some truth as well as deceit. He can use signs to "authenticate" a speaker, but when the tongue of the speaker says untruth, or when others use this to develop anti-Christ theology, that's the line for me. The linchpin in my argument is the contradiction that Paul preaches, ie. the death of the Law, against all prior rulings of God and Jesus. It is not in consensus with everything Jesus worked towards in His own ministry. I don't believe that Jesus would mislead us for three years and then say "I rescind the Twelve and all My Father's teaching with the divergent teachings of this one man".
So yes, I'm not sure where Paul stands with the Lord, in the end. It's not my place to judge his heart, or the hearts of those who built entire traditions upon Pauline sand instead of the Rock of Peter laid down by Jesus, but it is my place to take care of my own soul.

If you’re going to question Paul’s authenticity then you’ll quickly find yourself casting doubt on Barnabas and the Apostles in the church in the early church in Jerusalem.
Peter puts in a good word for Paul here. He’s not warning them to stay away from Paul’s teachings.
The official 12 Apostles was settled in Acts 1. This quickly becomes a lengthy topic on the uses of apostle in the New Testament: big A Apostle versus little a apostle meaning “sent one”.
Why might it not check out? Saul/Paul's conversion is a little strange to my eyes, in that he was not travelling alone, yet Jesus only appeared to Saul (tbh he didn't even see Him, he saw a light and was blinded), while they were out in the middle of nowhere, on the road between cities? Why did Jesus not simply show Himself bodily to the whole group as He had before, so that Paul may have fellow witnesses as was so important in God's Law, and was Jesus' own typical way of approaching people so that they may believe Him? No, this is not the reason I take Paul's words with a large grain of salt, his own teachings are. But it's strange. Why would Jesus have his whole earthly ministry saying "I'm not abolishing the law," and His own 12 Apostles chosen specifically by Him, and then go call someone completely separately to preach a different "Law is dead" gospel? Are you saying that Jesus made a mistake in His teachings?
The truth that the church does not want to hear, is that we need to test Paul like we were commanded by God to do with any other prophet, and if ANY word of his contradicts the word of God, we throw his prophecies out. Or else, at best, we might accept that perhaps Paul was indeed converted at first, but then, as many do, began falling away from the words of Jesus and God, creating his own "unique" teachings and following. As for that Barnabas quote, Nobody will deny that Paul boldly preached in the name of Jesus. But again, was what he was preaching always sound? Or did it lead many toward a path of destruction?
"Twist to their own destruction" are telling words in Peter's letter. Peter himself couldn't have known how true that was going to turn out. "Wrote to you according to the wisdom given him" and "Things in them that are hard to understand" isn't really telling us much about what Peter thought about the actual doctrine that Paul was trying to push. Nothing he wrote is specifically a glowing review, Peter just sees him as a fellow believer and preacher. Also, you are taking the one part out of 2 Peter, while ignoring the context around it. Read the whole letter. See how Peter himself defines the Apostles, and their role in witnessing Jesus. See how he warns against lawlessness and false teachings. In fact, the very verses you quoted, are followed immediately by this crucial one: "You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. " Think about why Peter might mention Paul specifically, and then follow up with that. To me, Peter is saying very diplomatically, to cling to the words and principles of God and Jesus, no matter what others say.
And you did not broach the real meat of my issue with Paul, and how the modern church elevates Pauline theology over that of Jesus, God's actual Son and the Messiah. Who do you trust more? If there is any contradiction, why automatically trust Paul to be some "overwriter" of the Law? What do you think of Jesus saying in no vague manner that the Law would not be abolished or even edited? Jot (yod/iota) tittle are both terms for parts of the script itself -- yod is a Hebrew letter, the smallest of them all, and even it is not to be removed from God's commandments.
And yes. Apostle means "sent". Sent is a passive verb, sent by the power of another. By Jesus. It was a title and job He gave to 12 men, the 12 He chose to be at His side as he preached, who traveled with Him pre-crucifixion, the best witnesses possible. It was a title and a count that was apparently so important, that the Apostles had an election to fill the one vacancy left by Judas. And yet Paul calls himself that, not by any other authority. There is no scriptural evidence where Jesus, or anyone else, tells Paul he is an apostle. Again, if this was how it was meant to be, that the title could be passed on to anyone, then sure, why not. But show me proof of that. There is no other precedent outside the strict election of Matthias for a strict "seat", and again, I'm not inclined to believe only the words of a man who taught we were free from God's commandments, when Jesus our Messiah, the Anointed had harsh words for those who did so.
More of Jesus' words, in case miracles are enough in your mind, to "prove" Paul's doctrine was sound: "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."
It all boils down to this.... Who do you trust more? Where lies your true faith? In Jesus or in Paul?
The answer is given by Jesus already. Always look at the context. Don't take things out of their context.

Well, if you'd hoped to justify yourself before God by your own good behavior and WITHOUT Jesus, the only way to do that would be by following the law as God gave to the Jews, so that you could have access to the sacrifices of the high priest that you'd need. I agree with most of your opinions. The one part that you are forgetting is that much of America hates Trump due to the spoonfed propaganda they have listened to for the past 4 years. I don't agree with it, but the media has built a propaganda machine that Hitler would be proud of, in order to control public opinion. In other words, even with obvious voter fraud, there is a chance that the election was won by Biden. I still have hope for a Trump re-election, and I knew immediately when the left started pushing vote by mail that the election would be a joke, as does the rest of the world. But attacking people for their beliefs is exactly what I detest. I don't have to like them, but I am not attacking anyone unless they ask for it. When you talk about rioters attacking people, etc, I agree they should hang by a lightpost for an example to all. And if they attack me they won't have a second thought about it.
