The vast majority of VA is deep red. The blue is mostly DC barfing all over the north, and a couple cities. VA has 130 ish (iirc) 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties and localities. It is deeply divided and the real Virginians are being lorded over by infanticidal self-proclaimed dictators.

Lifetime Virginian here, and I genuinely cannot name a single person who likes our governor. It wouldn't surprise me if this election was rigged for Northam. He's far from popular outside of the NoVa area.

I grew up in Virginia. Such a beautiful state. So rich with history. It saddens me that the swamp has taken it over.
