I have one buddy from NYC who is spending the next two months abroad and the three months after that in ski country. My cousin who lived in NYC moved to FL.

I lived there for 7/8 years. It’s miserable in the height of winter and summer. In winter, there’s nothing to do but go out to eat or bars, and that’s being limited.

And it’s not limited to New York. The witch bitch of Michigan just instituted a new lockdown.

My condo in Denver in a previously nice part of the city is subject to waves of homeless and antifag types. These people are ruining our country.

I hate Marxist policies so much right now.

The effects of the extended lockdowns will be devastating to all cities, not just northern ones.

We all know about the unintended consequences of lockdowns (suicide, anxiety, less job opportunities, a sucky economy, huge government power over our lives.)

When this farce is "over" I want to see the REAL numbers. I almost guarantee the lockdowns killed more people than they (allegedly) saved.

there are no unintended side effects - all are intentional

It definitely appears that many, if not all, of the lockdowns are punitive and selective in nature.

I am fiercely opposed to the lockdowns.

With that being said, they have had a dramatic impact on the death toll earlier this year. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone can say whether they were worth it or not.

They didn't "save lives" so much as "extend the process."

The worst thing about the lockdowns is that people blame Trump for them. Trump did not order ANY lockdowns. Not even one. He did his job and let the state governors do theirs - those governors were the ones that made the choice to lockdown or not to lockdown. It still burns me up every time I hear someone blame Trump for the lockdowns.

This is true, but some of us can still go outside and walk/jog and get vitamin D.

I just realized, they tried really hard to nuke the Trump economy, but it swung right back up. If they want to pull a "Biden fixed it" it has to be in shambles when the office of president elect sets up shop in his basement.

That’s a good observation, thanks. Everyone was talking about an end to lockdowns around 11/3. At this point we’re either looking at 1/20 for an end. If it happens, we’ll know they’re evil and duplicitous. If not they’re just dumber than we thought.

it aint gonna end till either we the people end it or President Trump does, which based on the political map, im not expecting him too, so its up to the people.

Its too perfect a weaopn of fear and control to be ever put away. Fao-xi is already talking about masks forever, vax or not, and

PM eyebrows in the attic is already openly discussing the intent to use covid to implement Agenda 2030/Green New Deal shit "b/c science.

Also see the World Economic forum bullshit about 2030 and no freedom or belongings orsuch.

terrifying shit, and Trump is the only man holding us back from the brink

If Biden takes office there will be no end to the lockdowns.

The best weapon a socialist could ever dream of is to convince the public to fear freedom. They would never give up that power.

Boulder is getting pretty ugly too.

Boulder has been pretty ugly for a long damn time. People's Republic of Boulder - 27 square miles surrounded by reality.

Friendly_B 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's true. They call it the Boulder Bubble unironically.

A lot of the horse farmers out of 95th are pretty reasonable people

They have promised a dark winter though.

This winter is going to be bad, in terms of respiratory disease, no matter what.

The difference between how the Democrats approach it and how Trump approaches it is they seem to take great pleasure in using the situation as an excuse to deprive people of their rights, crush their businesses or careers, and make them helpless and afraid. The president is focused on fixing the problem without ruining American lives, businesses, or taking away our freedom.

I haven’t been into Boulder for a few weeks. I know there was an “outbreak” where no one seems to have died. There are a few places out off of 25 where I can get away without a mask. Those places get my business

Restaurants up here are going to close at a break neck pace. How can we do outdoor dining when is below 15 degrees? Even if there are tents and space heaters it is still pretty cold.

If you’re in my subgroup of 21-45 year olds, what else is there to do? Ice fishing for you maybe? I can go skiing. I’ve no clue what my NYC friends will do. Unless you’re rich, getting out of town isn’t easy

Get census numbers for the next decade.

Ruin blue states so everybody moves to red states.

Ruined blue states with lots of electoral votes from census, red states with massive influx of blue idiots.

It's evil genius.
