mrunknown 22 points ago +22 / -0

I'm an aussie but I haven't heard of this. No verified sources either.

We all know down under that Trump will be re-elected. Almost everyone I know agrees with that sentiment.

God bless DJT the 45th, and god bless all you patriots. We are rooting for you.

When Trump wins, we can send Mel Gibson to serve as an advisor for some Road Warrior paramilitary training to fight off the commies.

Deus Vult!

Australia only has left wing media, the good news is no one listens to them anymore.

What about Sky News Australia?

They seem to be very anti-CCP and pro Trump

Or are they like Fox where they are faking it?

3
Mummabear20 3 points ago +3 / -0

Faking it.

2
WildFunkyFresh [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a shame.

They're kinda like Fox 10 yrs ago.

(semi-related back story: there's a fairly common thought in Australia we're about 10yrs behind the US)

With that said: guy called Rowan Dean on Sky News Australia is 100% based.

Sounds a lot like Fox.

2
bitterbut_true 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. Switched off and blocked Channels 7, 9 and 10 plus the ABC. All anti-Trump propaganda. All that's left is Sky--however out of 5 'based reporters' , two have flipped imo.

It seems there's really only one major MSM based pro-Trump journalist/editorialist left in Australia and that's Rowan Dean on Sky (The Outsiders).

Unless he's willing to divulge exactly WHO that coalition MP is, it's difficult to say.

What is clear is that a lot of world leaders blew their wad too early calling Biden to congratulate him before January 20th. This shit isn't over by a country mile.

Nobody called biden, he called them. Now he's back in his basement scared because they know they got caught.

News won’t report that down here

Mummabear20 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't know. Australia is very much tied up with China. There very well could be some who don't agree with Scomo and are too chicken shit to speak up. There are quite a few of us who believe that Trump won by a landslide.

As a New Zealander I can confirm that Trump will be the United States of America's Next President.

4
EchoLight 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can't confirm, but the sentiment wouldn't be surprising.

My feeling is that our federal parliament, which is controlled by the Centre-Right Liberal-National Morrison government, is only paying lip-service to the Biden camp for as long as necessary. This is because the pressure from subversive Leftist elements is too pervasive here, especially as they're bolstered by the influence of our close but unwanted neighbour CCP and Globalist Leftist movements (not unlike that found in UK, Canada and NZ). In actuality, parliament would rather have a Trump presidency and be able to promote the values of Western Civilisation, because that's where we belong culturally, but unfortunately Australia can't actually participate in US domestic affairs.

The Federal authorities and the intelligence community (e.g. ASIO) have been treating the CCP at the very least as a threat to our national security but can't openly defy them given how powerful China is as a nation, and how much the Chinese economy has invested itself in Australia (minerals, property, education, etc). If they openly defied the Globalist dictate that Biden was the victor, they'd be eaten alive by both the Chinese and any of the Globalist Leftist mechanisms that have infiltrated the Australian public, which isn't insignificant at all.

The madman John Adams is based though: he took a $1000 bet that Trump would be inaugurated with 250 to 1 odds. Although with odds like that you'd be crazy to not take it.

Right, I am moving to Australia or the US, as the UK is a sinking ship and I am off, please help me decide which one?

2
Telcontar2012 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you choose Australia, the west coast is quieter and we have less craziness coming from our left-leaning politicians compared to the east coast.

3
EchoLight 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you want go to the East coast though, you might find Brisbane to be friendlier to the right than Sydney or Melbourne. However, Sydney is okay as it's more of a middle ground in terms of political disposition; Melbourne is probably the most left-leaning of all, although it's less left-leaning than most US cities. It's not impossible to find a right-leaning community in either Sydney or Melbourne, but they're much harder to find and leftist communities are much more prominent in both cities.

Between Australia and the US, Australia is much more calmer, and as a Commonwealth nation governed by a common law system that up until 1986 had been tied to the UK, is more familiar to the British ex-pat. However, the downside is that it's subject to the whims of greater powers as it's a much smaller nation in terms of geopolitics, does not have an armed populace, and is also much less "exciting" since it's very peaceful. I can't attest to the US as I've never been there, but my feeling is that there is always more inherent opportunities in the US given the size and energy that it has, and how life there is inherently "riskier". If you do go to the US, I recommend a safe red state with a love for firearms.

Pretty much all of Queensland. And they've got some awesome countryside scenery.

Sadly, while the media here in Australia is VERY anti Trump I'd take this with a grain of salt. He spoke to Coalition Parliamentarian, which without a name or something coming direct from that horses mouth has about as much stock as saying "some guy said".

2
Dingo 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is quite possible that a conservative in the coalition rang John Adams to tell him he believed Trump would win, so do I but that doesn’t mean much.

I highly doubt he would get paid if he won, even if they were 1 - 1.
