Can't confirm, but the sentiment wouldn't be surprising.

My feeling is that our federal parliament, which is controlled by the Centre-Right Liberal-National Morrison government, is only paying lip-service to the Biden camp for as long as necessary. This is because the pressure from subversive Leftist elements is too pervasive here, especially as they're bolstered by the influence of our close but unwanted neighbour CCP and Globalist Leftist movements (not unlike that found in UK, Canada and NZ). In actuality, parliament would rather have a Trump presidency and be able to promote the values of Western Civilisation, because that's where we belong culturally, but unfortunately Australia can't actually participate in US domestic affairs.

The Federal authorities and the intelligence community (e.g. ASIO) have been treating the CCP at the very least as a threat to our national security but can't openly defy them given how powerful China is as a nation, and how much the Chinese economy has invested itself in Australia (minerals, property, education, etc). If they openly defied the Globalist dictate that Biden was the victor, they'd be eaten alive by both the Chinese and any of the Globalist Leftist mechanisms that have infiltrated the Australian public, which isn't insignificant at all.

The madman John Adams is based though: he took a $1000 bet that Trump would be inaugurated with 250 to 1 odds. Although with odds like that you'd be crazy to not take it.
