Sorry if this topic has been discussed before. The search box in the sidebar doesn't work for me, so I wasn't able to find out.

What do you guys think about joining the Fediverse? Seems to me like it would be a logical thing to do given the degree of censorship we're seeing out there. If McEnany can get banned from Twitter or posts can be removed, I think the proper response would be to set up our own Mastodon server as an alternative. Wouldn't hurt to get around the MSM either.

There's also other technologies out there to explore. There's IPFS as a decentralized means for hosting and ENS as secure way to have domain names which domain registrars can't take away. If you don't think they work, check out this list of websites. Just make sure you install the MetaMask extension first or none of the websites will work. Also, Chromium based browsers work a lot faster than Firefox for those websites.

All the above is just food for thought. Sure we need funds and some expertise but this technology is free and open-source and works today. Let me know what you think.
