Yup, I am almost positive I've had it before and it was a cough for a night. One of my best friends has a shit immune system and it fucked him up for a few days but he was fine. Both are 23 and 24 (me) respectively.

Same here, if I didn’t have to quarantine I probably would’ve only called in sick one day based on the way I felt

Assault-Covfefe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Even if I came into contact with someone who tested positive, I wouldn't get tested. And if I don't feel well, I'm STILL not going to get tested. At this point, what difference would it make? There's nothing you can take other than the usual cold med.

The only way I'd get tested is if I was going overseas for vacation and it was mandatory to travel. But since I won't be doing that any time soon, it's a moot point.

All the MSM sources I happen to come across are going crazy with case numbers. Apparently now it’s growing at rates multitudes more than at any point ever before lol.

Of course deaths are still down, but that’s not the point! 89 BILLION TRILLION KAJILLION PEOPLE ARE GETTING COVID! HIDE IN YO HOUSE!

If 25% of america ALREADY GOT IT, how can it be rising at numbers never before seen? The math isnt there. Theyve chosen to classify any respiratory issue covid.

5
lifeisahologram 5 points ago +5 / -0

Lol that’s true. At this rate they are going to eventually report more Americans have Covid than Americans exist. And sadly it will go over the heads if so many not even capable of doing the math.

I still listen to WNYC (I really enjoy a lot of their programming when I tune out the propaganda elements) but man it’s been rough listening to On the Media doing the “Voter Fraud isn’t real and didn’t happen. You want evidence? White Supremacy!” dance.

oh yeah. bigtime. Fauci hilariously turned it around in one week- when Joe declared victory he was already saying covid might not be that big a deal. then once it looked like Trump wasn't backing down he 180d.

I've just never imagined that we were surrounded by such pieces of shit.

It's like in the matrix where you wake up but the real world is a fucking hellscape, and some people would rather live in the fake one, I kind of get it.

the cdc is not counting 2020 'flu stats; gee, i wonder why? they're lumping everything under the covid umbrella. if icu beds are spiking (routinely filled at 80-90% outside of 'flu season), i'm betting it's all the untreated cancer/heart disease/diabetes issues/etc that people didn't get treated for during the spring and summer.

They’ve also changed the language. From “positive tests” or “Testing positive” to “cases”. Look at what your state defines as “cases” usually including; positive, tests, inconclusive tests, people who may have been in contact with another “case” (positive or inconclusive) while showing symptoms of covid (head ache, sore throat, cough, runny nose.

The worst part is how many people believe it. I had a former prof just message me in a blind panic about how covid was "spreading like wildfire" through the island where he lives.

Problem is now he's too scared to leave his house to go out and see reality.

I read an article a while back correlating the rate of new COVID-19 cases coming out of China with major political events. I never looked deeply into this to verify it (you could argue major political events are daily in such a country and you also cannot assume automatically the data is real) however it does warrant further investigation.

3
UnderCoverTrumper 3 points ago +3 / -0

Wow, interesting! thanks for mentioning that. I'll have to look into it. Off hand, there does seem to be some correlation...

5
muslimporn 5 points ago +5 / -0

It's pretty damned important.

Politicians are cowards and their approach to COVID-19 is to just copy China, don't try anything new or approach it head on, just copy.

Lots of people are saying we should look at China's authoritarianism as a superior example to follow because it could solve COVID-19.

The problem is China's authoritarian regime also means that it's impossible to really know what happened there or exactly what they did.

A lot of people are automatically trusting their numbers but we don't really know the real numbers.

On top of that the differences between our system and China's in terms of capability that might lead to a deficit is not authoritarianism.

The problem is our absence of meritocracy in the political establishment including the press particularly in respect to ironically growing devious left wing authoritarianism.

If this correlation is real then it's a damned good indicator that all the numbers coming out of China are complete BS. It's also possible political events mean an assembly of people but I don't think it looked like that (it's not delayed).

I completely agree! Well said!

China's mortality rates aren't any different from the other nations in East Asia.

Theoretically, a complete, authoritative lockdown ala China works in entirely suppressing spread of a communicable disease... but only if you catch it early enough. Which is nearly impossible, because you don't know what you're dealing with until you're dealing with it. I personally believe China caught it early enough to have a very slight impact, but I have been questioning whether their constant effort and time spent managing it is worth it.

In Europe and America, it's not worth it at all. Both regions were far, far, FAR too late in locking down to see any gains whatsoever doing so. The people who are scared and afraid are so because they idiotically believe man controls nature. At this point in the West, the spread of the virus just needs to be ridden out.

1
muslimporn 1 point ago +1 / -0

The problem with China is that as an information void we just can't extract much from it.

Some other countries in East Asia do have more collectivist cultures and more government control.

South Korea assuming I'm properly informed has things like ID cards to go online (or at least to use a large number of their main services). It's not quite as bad as China but very different to here. South Korea is another model they want to implement in the west that we do not want.

Lockdown can be established here in a way that works. A way that is not perpetual nor excessively broad. The principle reason we cannot establish this as a society is primarily due to the incompetence and malicious intent of the left wing political establishment though many element of the right wing establishment are only so far behind.

Lockdown has always been contingent on go into hibernation and wait for a vaccine.

What would shock most people is that we had a vaccine since around Feb. The side effect of the vaccine is a maximum of two weeks in isolation. A lockdown of months and months in isolation with no vaccine being administered makes absolutely no sense at all.

Submariner 5 points ago +5 / -0

Vaccine was just announced yet it's somehow more dangerous than ever?

LArnix 4 points ago +4 / -0

yup we knew what was going to happen!

Not only that, but it’s no coincidence that Whitmer shut Michigan down just two days after a large “STOP THE STEAL” protest in front of the state Capitol on Saturday. It’s to suppress open dissent.

the closer trump gets to winning

the harder the unconstitutional lockdowns will get

3
Cbllbc 3 points ago +3 / -0

Restrictions and dangers related to the bat flue were about to lighten up. Then they realized Trump actually has a case...

3
doodaddy 3 points ago +3 / -0

Beat me to it! I was going to point out that Covid stopped being the subject, and even that a vaccine trial was very successful.

Now here we are with them needing to roll that back, so Fauci is saying even with a vaccine you should stay home and wear a mask!!??

I think it's to make sure that any revotes or recounts are done with the same odd rules where we use mail-in ballots and have trouble observing.

The MSM I glanced at yesterday was all Covid hype. Not one mention of the election

2
brownguy 2 points ago +2 / -0

The mainstream media's biggest weapon was the illusion that what they said was right and people never questioned it. It is, after all, the "news".

People are finally waking up and realizing they are full of shit. The MSM is not our friend. They are part of the information war going on. Alex Jones had it right... That crazy bastard.

If Biden was actually the winner, they'd be talking about all the great things he's about to do.

Oh wait, he's not the winner and he has no good things even by his own party's standards.

Duckyhs 1 point ago +1 / -0

You can literally go on google and type 1 through 2000 with new cases after it and find an article matching the number and a report pertaining to it. "X new cases".

Try it yourself.

1
TheHoeAndJoe420 1 point ago +1 / -0

well the cases have been rising.. (my guess is more false positives) but we did see a glimpse of hope once they announced biden president-elect.. the study came out saying concerts were okay.. vaccine was released.. now all bad news from here

Fact checked as "partially true". While the Shanghai Shivers makes a good cover story and filler, the fact is that the MSM would never cover election fraud regardless. /s
