Jesus is the answer. Jesus is the perfect and undeserved sacrifice for our sins. His Blood and Suffering satisfied God's wrath. He is a Gift of Grace - all we have to do is repent and accept the gift. Jesus is our freedom from the punishment we deserve.

You're correct, sir. HOWEVER, prayer does activate God's intervention. And for this intervention to be successful depends on how big of an ask it is and how much the praying man BELIEVES it will come true. Positive energy (optimism) enables God's power. Negative energy (pessimism) disables it. We need true believers to pray and to trust their prayers will happen. For a big ask, the prayers must be repeated often.

Wow. You describe our transgressions well! It is time to turn around. Change our ways. The call for more life-giving ways is always upon us. God wants us to be people of righteousness and compassion. Each of us knows ways we can grow spiritually. No one is perfect. Hence, God always forgives.

He led the jews out of egypt. He was a freaking fire tornado that just did 10 plagues, and at the red sea they were afraid and doubted. Over and over, He rescues them, they turn away, He gets mad and He lets these things happen. We always turn from the Rock, and we get our way and suffer because of it, but He still sends judges, prophets, and kings, and finally His own Son.

I dont remember if its Deuteronomy or Numbers, but God does say that if the people repent and call upon Him, he will rescue them.
