Yes, but your computer has a ton of different complex programs interacting together. The coding for the voting machines is pretty basic in comparison.

It’s like having a calculator that subtracts 10 every time you do a calculation. The problem isn’t a complex issue causing a glitch, it’s just that calculator was programmed to subtract 10.

I really can't say because I dont know enough about the voting machines, but I buy that. I just don't know how complex they are and how many different things are going at the same time. For example, what if there's a failsafe in case of a power loss that stores all the data on a battery powered memory device and then moves them back to the main drive when the power comes back (with the assumption that the data on the maind drive was lost bc of the power outage). Now what if there was a power surge that triggered a false positive, or someone knocked a cord loose and the voltage dropped for a split second but not long enough to do any damage, but still triggered this failsafe. It would then take the votes to the backup and see the power came back on, and shuffle them back to add to the count (to replace the lost votes from the drive that lost power).. only since it never really lost power the main drive never lost it's data. So you would have a situation where a certain amount of votes are doubled.

Look, this isn't a likely scenario granted, and might not even be realistic. I'm just saying it is not as cut and dry as you make it out to be and glirches/errors absolutely can (and do) occur all the time. We can not account for every contingency and scenario and you also have to factor in human error and stupidity (like unplugging shit for no good reason or spilling coffee or clicking the wrong button).

That said, the shit were seeing with these machines is fraud and I don't buy the glitch excuse for a millisecond. It was far to widespread, frequent, without explanation, and overwhelmingly favored the crook Biden. Also all we know about dominion and smartmatic now, it isnt a question and it was intentional.
